“My art, as in my life, has been changing and evolving throughout the years.
Here in Asheville I have discovered the beauty of
the Appalachian Mountains on the back of a motorcycle.
In June 2009 after an accident, I had a life altering transformation,
which allowed me to deeply experience human kindness
& generosity in my time of need.
After not being able to walk freely for a year,
I've learned to never take anything for granted!
I referred to it as “Forced Zen”, where I had to make a decision
to redefine my life and my role in it one more time!
My husband said “look at what I can do-not what I cant do”
The path has lead me here to the Blue Ridge,
where my inspiration & focus is on creating art that reflects my passion for life.
I want to share the Joy & Freedom I now have thru my Artwork.
“The Journey to Here: Riding Appalachia”
is a series of paintings inspired by photographs taken on the back of a motorcycle
riding thru the mountains and country roads.
I love to share the beauty I experience as we ride on!!
I also design custom frames from Barn wood
and local metals from farms and antique shops.
ENJOY The RIDE !
Do what you love & share it as much as possible.
I enjoy riding motorcycles thru this great land, and in the Appalachian mountains! All of my pieces are directly influenced by these rides in the BackRoads!! - Enjoy the Ride!!.
